Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Architecture and Engineering Occupations, which accounted for 16% of the total new job postings in Q3 2023 and were down by 62% year-on-year. Second highest were Management Occupations, which accounted for 12% and drop by 44% year-on-year, and third highest were Sales and Related Occupations, which were 36% of the new job postings and 24% lower year-on-year.
Top five companies in mining industry accounted for 78% of hiring activity
The highest number of jobs were posted by ABB with 244, followed by Caterpillar with 204, while the highest increase was at Atlas Copco at 69%.
